Large woven bins in a corner hold a lot and are out of the way, also easy to put away. Hanging toy nets again in the corner are good for smaller stuffed animals.
Make the system easy for the people who actually use it: visible categories, reachable storage and a clear place for each item to return. For younger children, a picture label can work better than a written one.
Keep everyday favorites within comfortable reach and move less-used pieces to secondary storage. Before buying an organizer, measure the usable space and check that you can still open drawers, doors and lids fully.
