If you think you will be there more than one year I would say yes. You can also use plastic or wire mesh baskets which you can pull out without having to install.
Measure the real opening and any obstructions before ordering, including hinges, handles, pipes and the room needed to pull something out. The best organizer is the one you can use comfortably every day, not necessarily the one that fills every inch.
My final check is practical: can you find what you need quickly, put it back just as easily, and see when the space is getting full? If not, simplify the categories or move the storage closer to where you use it. An organizing system should make life easier, not become another chore.
