Yes. Vacuum storage bags are one of my favorite ways to store bulky clothing, blankets and comforters because they can reduce the amount of space those items take up dramatically. Use them for clean, completely dry items, seal them properly and store the compressed bags where they won't be punctured.
Keep everyday favorites within comfortable reach and move less-used pieces to secondary storage. Before buying an organizer, measure the usable space and check that you can still open drawers, doors and lids fully.
My final check is practical: can you find what you need quickly, put it back just as easily, and see when the space is getting full? If not, simplify the categories or move the storage closer to where you use it. An organizing system should make life easier, not become another chore.
