Move truly seasonal clothing out of your prime everyday closet space when necessary.
Use clearly labeled lidded bins or other appropriate secondary storage, and keep categories together so you can easily retrieve them when the season changes.
Before storing anything for another season, edit it. There's little benefit in carefully storing clothing you already know you don't want to wear again.
