Don't use your most valuable everyday closet space for clothing you can't currently wear.
If you genuinely expect to use the clothing again and have appropriate secondary storage, place it in a clearly labeled lidded bin in another closet or storage area.
If you're fairly certain you won't wear it again, consider donating it.
Your everyday closet should primarily support the person getting dressed today.
